We have developed a simplified process to help you identify your renovation goals while always keeping your budget in mind. Below are the steps to building a successful project:
Initial Appointment – During a visit with you in your home we will review your overall wants and needs for your house design. American Remodeling Contractors will evaluate your existing environment and determine how to incorporate your new design and goals. We will ask you for ideas, give design suggestions, document the existing conditions, and help you determine what is most important as we begin developing your remodeling project.
Preliminary Design/Budget Development – Based on the information we collected at our initial appointment you will be provided with a preliminary home design and budget for your renovation. This will include our design ideas, as well as your preliminary budget, and discuss any necessary changes to determine the next steps for your project.
Design/Specification Development – Once you agree on a preliminary house design and budget, your design and specifications will be finalized. This will include a color palette selection and finish selections to identify all the selections necessary to make your project a success. You will spend time with our interior decorator, to develop your palette and make product selections. Once the selections are finalized we will begin developing your project specifications, which will identify everything included in your construction agreement.
Construction – During the construction phase we create the house plan, obtain any necessary permits and develop a detailed construction schedule to help you plan your life during the project. There will be a pre-construction meeting with you to review the entire remodel project to ensure that any and all of your questions are answered prior to starting the actual renovation.
Project Completion – At the completion of your renovation, we walk through the project with you and record any small items or details that need to be addressed to ensure 100% satisfaction. You can also rely on us to be available to address any warranty issues that may arise in the future.
